The Quicksilver (established in 1989) is Maui’s premier Dolphin and Snorkel Adventure to Lanai, and the thing to do while you are on Maui! Experience the rare opportunity to travel and see an entirely new Hawaiian island, Lanai, home to a pod of 100 spinner dolphins.
Our tours began when the Quicksilver’s owners sailed to Maui in 1989 to start boat tours and snorkeling. The vessel Quicksilver first arrived in Maui in 2003, and has grown into one of the leading providers of boat tours and snorkeling in Maui. The company started by providing fun kids activities and tourist “must see” adventures. Snorkeling is one of Maui’s best activities, and the history of the Quicksilver is to make snorkeling possible for all people traveling to this destination.
About Our Tours
Travel across the Au’au Channel to snorkel the Pineapple Island – Lanai! Leave the shores of Maui behind on our Deluxe Lanai Snorkeling Tour. Large coral reefs fringe the wild, remote, and sparsely populated island. The waters off Lanai are home to a pod of over 100 spinner dolphins! You may see them leap from the water as your double-deck catamaran makes her way to the snorkeling site at Manele Bay or Shark Fin Rock (named for its shape, not its underwater residents).
Quicksilver Maui also offers a Dinner Cruise with delicious entrées, table seating, island-style music, lovely ocean views, and island drink favorites like the Mai Tai, Lava Flow and Pina Colada highlight this experience. The dinner cruise is the perfect setting for a beautiful Maui sunset.
Humpback Whale Watching is available December through April. Our 2-hour tours include an educational and informative narrative. We operate our tours in Lahaina, which is often referred to as the “cradle of the humpback” because of its extremely high concentration of these magnificent creatures. This is a “must do” activity during whale season!
